Born in Zimbabwe and raised between there, South Africa, and Scotland, Mist has always had a diverse and adventurous background. As a child, there wasn’t a single career obsession, but one dream remained constant—owning a restaurant one day.
Mist’s professional journey has been just as varied as their upbringing. Starting young as a photographer, Mist explored different paths by working in cafés, offices, a cinema, and even a city registrar’s office. Each role brought valuable life lessons and helped shape the empathetic, grounded approach to work that Mist carries today.
What Mist enjoys most about their current role is simple yet powerful: being there for people. Even when a customer’s case can’t be taken on, just offering a listening ear and understanding can make all the difference—and Mist takes pride in creating that space for others.
Outside of work, Mist is passionate about computer gaming, cooking, music, and binge-watching a good TV series. When it comes to downtime, relaxation (and the occasional nap) is a priority, especially while managing medical challenges that make rest essential.
Family is also at the heart of Mist’s life. After recently moving back to South Africa from Scotland, Mist now lives with their parents while their grandmother stays in a cottage on the property. With a family business run from home and a sister who works alongside their parents, daily life is filled with closeness and connection—something Mist deeply values and is grateful for.
