Jolene O’Connor—Jo or JoJo to most—was born in Cape Town, South Africa. In her early 20s, she spent time living in London before eventually finding her way to the U.S. Her path hasn’t exactly been a straight line, but that’s what makes it interesting.
School was never her thing—until college. That’s when everything clicked. She earned her undergrad in Theology and Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Psychology. While studying, she worked as a counselor in both schools and prisons—work that was tough, but deeply meaningful. From there, she jumped into the world of web design as an Executive Assistant. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught her valuable skills that still serve her today.
Then came a decade in the film industry, where she worked as a Coordinator in the Art Department. It’s where she found her voice and learned that with enough creativity and determination, most problems can be solved.
Today, Jolene brings all those experiences to her work, supporting people through some of the hardest moments in their careers. She knows life doesn’t stop when you’re dealing with legal stress, and she takes pride in helping people feel a little more grounded when things feel uncertain.
At home, Jo’s happily married to her husband—and best friend—Sean. Their cat, Juno, runs the show. When she’s not working, she’s usually in her pajamas on the couch, deep into a binge of Grey’s Anatomy.
